The Iconic Brand Africa (TIBA) has opened nominations for the 2026 edition of the TIBA Excellence Awards, seeking individuals and organisations making significant contributions to Nigeria’s business and professional landscape.
The eighth edition of the annual awards is scheduled to hold on November 14, 2026, at The Zone, Gbagada, Lagos, with the theme, “Positioning for Influence, Leadership & Business Growth.”
According to the organisers, the awards will recognise outstanding achievements and measurable impact across sectors including business, technology, media, healthcare, finance, law, education, communications and public service.
The 2026 edition will feature 25 award categories covering entrepreneurship, corporate leadership, personal branding, research, innovation, sales and marketing, human resources, arts and public relations.
Some of the categories include Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year, Outstanding CEO/Founder of the Year, Social Impact Award of the Year, Leadership Award of the Year, Outstanding Corporate Brand of the Year and Outstanding Researcher of the Year.
Other categories will recognise achievements in research and innovation, media and public relations, education, branding and communication, technology, healthcare, finance, law, human resources, sales and marketing, and public service.
Founder of TIBA, Adeola Osideko, said the awards were established to recognise people whose influence is demonstrated through the results of their work rather than public visibility.
Osideko said the platform was created to celebrate individuals and organisations whose contributions are evident in the businesses they build, people they influence, problems they solve and standards they establish within their industries.
She added that the awards would also encourage more individuals and organisations to pursue excellence and create measurable impact.
TIBA said its platform has, over the years, honoured more than 800 leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and organisations, while providing a forum for discussions on leadership, influence and sustainable business growth.
The organisers are inviting individuals, companies, professional associations and members of the public to nominate candidates who have demonstrated outstanding achievement, innovation, leadership or measurable impact in their respective fields.
Nominations for the 2026 TIBA Excellence Awards close on August 31, 2026.
