Nigerian reality TV personality Michael Ilesanmi has finally closed a long and emotional chapter of his life after officially finalising his divorce from his estranged wife and fellow reality star Angela Deem.
Their love story began in 2018 on the reality show 90 Day Fiancé, where viewers watched their relationship grow from long-distance romance into marriage in 2020. In December 2023, Michael took a major step by relocating from Nigeria to the United States to start a new life with Angela in Jefferson County, Georgia.
But what seemed like a dream reunion quickly turned into turmoil. Just two months after his arrival, Angela reported him missing, claiming he had left their apartment without his passport or important belongings. She also accused him of using their relationship as a pathway to secure residency in the US.
Michael later resurfaced and strongly denied the allegations. Speaking out on social media, he accused Angela of physical abuse and said he had to fight to clear his name. He even launched a fundraising campaign to support his legal battle, insisting that he was being unfairly discredited during the divorce process.
Now, with the divorce officially finalised, Michael has expressed relief and gratitude. In a celebratory video, he proudly displayed the legal documents, marking what he described as the end of a painful chapter and the beginning of a new journey.
