Coronation Asset Management Limited has launched the Series II issuance of up to ₦20 billion under its ₦200 billion Coronation Infrastructure Fund Shelf Programme, aimed at expanding access to long-term infrastructure investments for qualified investors.
The company said the offer, which has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), is part of its strategy to mobilise private capital for the financing of critical infrastructure projects across Nigeria.
According to the firm, the Coronation Infrastructure Fund is a 99-year closed-end fund that invests in infrastructure debt opportunities spanning telecommunications, transportation, energy, utilities, social infrastructure and real estate. The proceeds from the Series II offer will be deployed in line with the Fund’s investment objectives.
Since its launch in September 2023, the Fund has raised ₦8.79 billion through its inaugural Series I issuance, delivered a 23.27 per cent net return in 2025, distributed ₦3.31 billion to unit holders, and recorded significant growth in its Nigerian Exchange (NGX)-listed unit price from ₦100 to ₦154.30 as of July 31, 2026.
The company also disclosed that about 93 per cent of the capital raised under Series I has been invested in infrastructure projects, while an additional ₦11.7 billion investment pipeline has been secured for deployment after the completion of the Series II offer.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Coronation Asset Management Limited, Aigbovbioise Aig-Imoukhuede, said the new issuance reflects growing investor confidence in professionally managed infrastructure investment vehicles.
He said the fund would continue to provide investors with competitive long-term risk-adjusted returns while supporting projects that enhance productivity, connectivity and economic growth.
Also speaking, Head of the Coronation Infrastructure Fund, Mayowa Ikotun, said the Series II issuance would further strengthen the Fund’s diversified infrastructure debt portfolio through disciplined investment and credit underwriting.
The offer is open to Pension Fund Administrators, asset managers, insurance companies, multilateral financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals and other eligible institutional investors.
The 10-year offer requires a minimum subscription of 100,000 units, with additional subscriptions in multiples of 50,000 units. It targets a minimum return of 300 basis points above the prevailing yield on the comparable 10-year Federal Government of Nigeria Bond, subject to market conditions.
Coronation Asset Management Limited is rated A(IM) by Agusto & Co. and A by Global Credit Rating Company (GCR). In 2026, Euromoney named the company Nigeria’s Best Investment Manager for Private Credit.
The company advised interested investors to obtain the Offer Memorandum from Coronation Asset Management Limited or the issuing houses for full details of the subscription process.
