Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, on Wednesday joined the Minister of Works, David Umahi, and other top government officials to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the Mando–Birnin Gwari Road in Kaduna State.
The event marked the official commencement of work on the newly approved road project, which is expected to improve transportation, enhance security, facilitate trade, and boost economic activities along the Mando–Birnin Gwari corridor and surrounding communities.
Among the dignitaries present at the ceremony were the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Hadiza Balarabe, senior government officials, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders.
The reconstruction of the strategic road forms part of the Federal Government’s ongoing commitment to upgrading critical infrastructure and improving connectivity across the country.
