Nigerian troops have intercepted a foreign courier allegedly transporting illicit drugs and alcoholic beverages to terrorists in Borno State, dealing a blow to the insurgents’ supply network.
The operation disrupted the delivery of the contraband, which security authorities believe was intended to support terrorist activities in the region.
The development underscores the military’s continued efforts to cut off logistics and supplies to insurgent groups operating in the North-East.
