Infinix has unveiled Nigerian music sensation Qing Madi as the official face of its newly launched HOT 70 Pro, marking the start of a nationwide campaign aimed at celebrating creativity, confidence and self-expression among young Nigerians.
The partnership brings together one of Africa’s fastest-rising music stars and one of the world’s leading youth-focused smartphone brands, reflecting a shared commitment to empowering young people to express themselves boldly and authentically.
Known for her originality and rapidly growing influence in the African music scene, Qing Madi has emerged as one of the defining voices of her generation. With hit songs, millions of streams across digital platforms and international recognition, she embodies the values of confidence and individuality that define the HOT 70 Pro.
According to Infinix, the collaboration goes beyond celebrity endorsement, describing it as a celebration of a generation determined to stand out and embrace its uniqueness.
Designed for students, content creators and digital natives, the HOT 70 Pro combines premium design with advanced technology. The smartphone features the innovative Active Matrix Cube, an interactive display integrated into its distinctive camera module, allowing users to personalise animated pixel art, lighting effects and smart notifications while sharing custom creations via NFC.
The device also introduces Infinix’s Dynamic Shine Design, featuring a sleek profile and finishes that change with light and movement, giving users another way to express their personal style.
Beyond its design, the HOT 70 Pro offers an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor, a 144Hz display, a 6,000mAh battery, AI-powered productivity features and a 50MP Sony IMX882 camera capable of capturing high-quality Live Photos.
Speaking on the partnership, Oluwayemisi Ode, PR Manager at Infinix Nigeria, described Qing Madi as the perfect representative of the HOT Series.
“The HOT Series has always represented confidence, creativity and individuality.
Qing Madi embodies those values in every sense. She is talented, fearless, authentic and deeply connected with today’s generation of young Nigerians. Her journey reflects exactly what the HOT 70 Pro stands for—standing out, embracing originality and expressing yourself without limits. We couldn’t think of a better person to lead this campaign,” she said.
Expressing her excitement, Qing Madi said the partnership aligns naturally with her personality and artistic journey.
“I’ve always believed that the best version of yourself is the one that’s unapologetically authentic. That’s why this partnership feels so natural to me.
The HOT 70 Pro is bold, creative and different, and I love how it encourages people to express themselves in their own way. I’m excited to begin this journey with Infinix and connect with fans through this campaign,” she said.
The singer will make her first official appearance as the face of the HOT 70 Pro during the ‘Be Seen Be Hot’ Campus Storm at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) on Thursday, July 10.
The event is expected to attract thousands of students from UNILAG, Yaba College of Technology and the Federal College of Education. Activities will include product demonstrations, games, creator engagements, giveaways, live entertainment, a meet-and-greet with Qing Madi and a live performance by the singer.
Infinix said the event marks the official launch of the HOT 70 Pro movement, bringing together technology, music, fashion and youth culture while reinforcing the brand’s commitment to inspiring the next generation through innovation and self-expression.
