Airtel Nigeria has launched the Airtel Green Garden Initiative at St. George’s UNA Primary School, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos, as part of activities to commemorate World Environment Day 2026.
The initiative, implemented in partnership with Durian Nigeria, is aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and educating pupils on the importance of tree planting, gardening and climate action.
Representatives of Airtel Nigeria, the Airtel Africa Foundation, Durian Nigeria and the school management participated in the launch event.
Speaking at the event, Airtel officials reaffirmed the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship and community development through initiatives that encourage a greener and healthier future.
