The Promota Team (TPT International) commemorated International Women’s Day 2026 by celebrating the remarkable women within the agency through a thoughtfully curated experience that recognized their dedication, creativity, and the vibrant energy they bring to the organisation.
International Women’s Day, observed annually on March 8, is a global occasion dedicated to recognising the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women across all sectors of society.
The 2026 theme, “Give to Gain,” highlights the importance of investing in women through recognition, opportunities, and support, noting that when women are empowered, organisations and communities benefit.
To mark the occasion, the leadership of TPT International, led by Chairman and Chief Consultant, Adetokunbo Modupe, treated the agency’s female staff to a movie and lunch outing, providing a relaxed atmosphere for bonding, reflection, and celebration outside the usual work environment.
In addition, the women were granted Monday, March 9, 2026, as a work-free day, allowing them time to rest and reflect on the significance of the global celebration of women.
Speaking on the initiative, Modupe expressed deep appreciation for the women whose talent and dedication continue to shape the organisation’s success.
He said women remain an invaluable part of both society and the organisation, noting that their contributions have significantly influenced the growth and excellence of the agency.
According to him, the organisation’s reputation and success would not have been possible without the intelligence, creativity, and commitment demonstrated by the women within the team.
“At TPT, we celebrate and appreciate our women every day. However, International Women’s Day provides a special opportunity to pause and express our gratitude once again. The outing is a simple but meaningful way of reminding them that their brilliance, resilience, and professionalism are recognised and valued,” he said.
On behalf of the female staff, Client Service Director, Ify Yvonne Odita, expressed gratitude to the leadership for fostering a workplace culture where women feel supported and appreciated.
She noted that the celebration, which included the movie outing, lunch, and work-free day, reflected the organisation’s commitment to employee wellbeing and appreciation.
Odita added that the opportunity to step away from routine tasks, bond with colleagues, and enjoy moments of relaxation made the International Women’s Day celebration memorable.
She also expressed pride in being part of an organisation that consistently recognises and celebrates the contributions of women.
The celebration, according to the company, reaffirmed TPT International’s commitment to building an inclusive workplace where women are empowered to grow, lead, and contribute meaningfully to the organisation’s future.
