President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria following his state visit to the Republic of Türkiye.
The Airbus A330 conveying the President arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at exactly 8:55 p.m. on Saturday.
President Tinubu was received on arrival by top government officials, including senior members of the Federal Executive Council, security chiefs, and officials of the Federal Capital Territory Administration.
During the state visit, the President held bilateral talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, focusing on strengthening cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, defence, energy, and infrastructure development. The visit also featured engagements with Turkish business leaders, aimed at attracting increased foreign direct investment into Nigeria.
The trip forms part of the administration’s broader diplomatic and economic outreach to deepen strategic partnerships and reposition Nigeria as a prime destination for global investors.
