The University of Lagos (UNILAG) came alive with music, technology and youthful excitement as thousands of students gathered for the Infinix HOT 70 Pro “Be Seen. Be Hot.” Campus Storm, a vibrant event that blended innovation, entertainment and self-expression.
The activation attracted students from the University of Lagos, Yaba College of Technology, the Federal College of Education and other neighbouring institutions, offering them an immersive experience with the newly launched Infinix HOT 70 Pro smartphone.
A major highlight of the event was the official public debut of award-winning singer and songwriter Qing Madi as the face of the Infinix HOT 70 Pro campaign.
Fresh from her unveiling as the brand ambassador, the fast-rising artiste connected with fans and embodied the campaign’s message of confidence, originality and fearless self-expression.
Students participated in a variety of interactive activities designed to showcase the smartphone’s key features.
One of the standout attractions was the water immersion-inspired photo booth, which demonstrated the device’s IP68 dust and water resistance while allowing attendees to capture memorable photos. The “Be Seen. Be Hot.” Signature Wall also became a centrepiece of the event, with students writing personal affirmations, aspirations and messages of confidence.
Attendees also explored dedicated HOT 70 Pro experience zones, where they tested the smartphone’s features, including the customisable Active Matrix Cube interactive lighting system. Colour-themed games inspired by the phone’s vibrant finishes, alongside activities at the MTN engagement booth, added to the excitement, with participants winning exclusive rewards and branded gifts.
One of the most anticipated moments was the exclusive Qing Madi Meet and Greet, where selected fans had the opportunity to interact with the artiste, take photographs and receive exclusive Infinix merchandise.
As the event progressed into the evening, it transformed into a live concert, with Qing Madi delivering a thrilling headline performance. She was joined by Ayo Maff, Big Bimi, Crowd Kontroller and Rybeena, who kept the audience entertained with energetic performances.
The excitement continued with giveaways throughout the event, as attendees received branded merchandise, exclusive gifts and prizes for participating in various activities.
The grand prize presentation capped the event, with two lucky students each winning a brand-new Infinix HOT 70 Pro smartphone. Another attendee emerged as the winner of the Infinix Grand Prize Package, comprising a HOT 70 Pro smartphone, an Infinix XPAD, an Infinix Smartwatch, Infinix Earbuds, a case of Monster Energy drinks and other gifts from participating brand partners.
