Tegbe Foundation marks founder Joseph Tegbe’s 60th birthday with #JTstrikesDiamond initiative, strengthening youth entrepreneurship and enterprise development across Oyo State.
The Tegbe Foundation has empowered 60 small businesses and social enterprises across Oyo State with financial grants ranging from ₦100,000 to ₦500,000 each.
The initiative, tagged #JTstrikesDiamond, was formally concluded with a colourful closing ceremony in Ibadan, marking the successful disbursement of direct financial support to beneficiaries, the majority of whom are youth-led enterprises.
The initiative was conceived to commemorate the 60th birthday of the founder of Tegbe Foundation, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, while its grant presentation ceremony was held in commemoration of International Youth Day.
The Foundation said the programme reflects its commitment to youth development, entrepreneurship and community empowerment.
According to the Executive Director of Tegbe Foundation, Femi Adeleke, the initiative represents an investment in the future of young entrepreneurs and the wider economy.
“This is more than support; it’s an investment in youth development, entrepreneurship, and a stronger economic future,” Adeleke said.
The closing ceremony attracted stakeholders, government representatives and community leaders, including Oloye Denrele Lekan-Salami, Ajia Balogun Olubadan; Engr. Bode Johnson; Femi Adeleke, Executive Director of Tegbe Foundation; Hon. Hafiz Oladejo, Special Adviser to the Honourable Minister on Stakeholder Engagement; Asiwaju Tayo Alabi; Chief Mrs Funmilayo Arulogun; Hon. Inaolaji Akinloye; and Hon. Raji Draj Ademola.
Several of the guests delivered goodwill messages, commending the Foundation for supporting young entrepreneurs and promoting enterprise development across Oyo State.
The Foundation said the initiative achieved its objective of providing economic support to 60 beneficiaries, particularly youth-led businesses and social enterprises, while contributing to enterprise growth and community development.
