The 49th Nigeria Annual International Conference and Exhibition (NAICE 2026), organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Nigeria Council, commenced in Lagos on Monday, bringing together key stakeholders across the oil and gas industry to discuss the future of energy, technology and sustainability.
The conference, which attracted industry leaders, policymakers, regulators, energy experts and international participants, is expected to explore innovative solutions, investment opportunities and strategies for advancing Nigeria’s petroleum sector amid the global energy transition.
The annual event serves as a major platform for knowledge sharing, networking and showcasing cutting-edge technologies aimed at improving operational efficiency, boosting local content and promoting sustainable development in the energy industry.
The conference began on August 3, 2026, in Lagos and will feature technical sessions, exhibitions and high-level discussions on the future of Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
