The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has declared plans to embark on a total, indefinite, and complete strike (TICS 2.0) starting January 12, 2026.
The decision follows continued disputes with the Federal Government over unpaid salaries and unresolved welfare issues. NARD says the strike is necessary after failed negotiations and repeated delays in fulfilling past agreements.
The impending industrial action is expected to disrupt medical services across public hospitals nationwide unless urgent intervention is made.
