Engineering firm showcases advanced compressed-air technology and solutions for improved industrial efficiency
JMG Limited, a leading player in Nigeria’s electro-mechanical industry, has showcased the Kaeser SM-13T Air Compressor at the 2026 Propak West Africa Exhibition in Lagos, highlighting advanced compressed-air solutions designed to improve industrial efficiency and productivity.
The three-day exhibition, held from September 8 to 10, 2026, at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, attracted organisations, industry professionals and stakeholders from Nigeria and other parts of the world.
The Kaeser SM-13T, one of the products showcased at the JMG stand, attracted significant attention from visitors who sought to understand its features, performance and applications across various industries.
The exhibition provided JMG with an opportunity to demonstrate its range of Kaeser products and engage businesses on solutions for compressed-air generation, installation, maintenance and after-sales support.
Speaking on the company’s participation, the General Manager, Air Compressor, JMG Limited, Ashwini Kumar Patel, said the exhibition was aimed at creating greater awareness about Kaeser products and their applications in various industries.
Kaeser Kompressoren, a German manufacturer, is known for developing compressed-air systems and technologies focused on efficiency, reliability and performance.
Patel said the SM-13T was designed to deliver efficient and reliable performance while helping businesses optimise their operations.
“Our presence here is to keep the people informed of our offerings in air compressors, to keep them focused, and also to understand that JMG delivers the best solutions to keep their business operations running at full capacity,” he said.
According to him, Kaeser products combine advanced technology with reliability and are already used by several multinational companies operating in Nigeria.
He added that JMG also provides after-sales services to help customers maintain the performance and efficiency of their equipment.
The Business Development Manager, JMG Limited, Olanrewaju Agbede, said the company’s participation was also aimed at helping businesses understand how to design and install efficient compressed-air systems.
Agbede said JMG provides solutions covering compressed-air station design, piping, installation, commissioning and maintenance.
“The SM-13T which we have showcased comes with an integrated dryer, with a 7.5-kilowatt capacity, at 38 CFM, and 11 bar or 160 PSI,” he said.
He explained that compressed-air systems are widely used across industries, including manufacturing, construction, mining, automobile and healthcare.
“We are here to engage with captains of industry, people from different walks of life, to provide solutions for them. The different sectors ranging from manufacturing, construction, mining, automobile, and healthcare use air compressors, and we are ready to partner and engage them for a strategic business relationship,” Agbede added.
JMG’s Kaeser portfolio also includes rotary screw compressors, trades and workshop compressors, industrial reciprocating compressors, marine compressed-air systems, compressed-air treatment solutions, condensate treatment systems, oil-free reciprocating compressors, portable compressors and rotary screw vacuum pumps.
The company also offers rotary lobe blowers, rotary screw blowers, turbo blowers and related air-compressor services.
A visitor to the exhibition, Gbenga Akinsola, an industry stakeholder, commended JMG for bringing practical engineering solutions closer to industry professionals through its participation in the event.
Akinsola said the demonstration of the Kaeser SM-13T underscored the importance of efficient and reliable compressed-air systems to businesses seeking to improve productivity and operational performance.
“What stands out for me is the practicality of the solution and the opportunity for industry professionals to see the technology up close and understand how it can address real operational needs,” he said.
According to him, JMG’s participation also provides businesses with an opportunity to explore technologies that can enhance efficiency, reliability and productivity.
Organised by Afrocet Montgomery, a subsidiary of the London-based Montgomery Group, Propak West Africa is an annual exhibition connecting professionals and businesses in the packaging, plastics, printing and food-processing industries.
