New gaming smartphone features Infinix’s largest GT Series cooling system as it targets competitive mobile gamers.
Infinix is set to officially introduce its new GT 50 Pro gaming smartphone to the Nigerian market on September 12, with the debut taking place alongside the PUBG MOBILE National Championship (PMNC) Nigeria Finals.
The PMNC Nigeria Fall 2026 Finals are scheduled for September 12 and 13, featuring 16 teams competing across 12 matches over two days.
The GT 50 Pro has been named the Official Gaming Partner of the 2026 PMNC Nigeria Season 2, placing the smartphone directly in the competitive gaming environment it is designed to serve.
Advanced Cooling System
One of the major highlights of the GT 50 Pro is its cooling technology, which Infinix describes as the largest cooling system in the history of the GT Series.
The smartphone features the HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture, built around a dual-piezoelectric ceramic micro-pump and precision cooling channels designed to transfer heat away from critical components during demanding gaming sessions.
According to Infinix, the system can achieve a coolant flow rate of up to 6.5 ml per minute, while its 6,437 mm² diaphragm area provides extensive coverage of the device’s major heat sources.
Unlike conventional passive heat dissipation, the active cooling system continuously moves heat away from high-temperature areas when the device is subjected to sustained workloads.
Designed for Competitive Gaming
For competitive players, maintaining consistent performance throughout long gaming sessions is critical.
The GT 50 Pro’s cooling architecture is aimed at helping the smartphone maintain high performance during extended gameplay, when heat can otherwise cause frame drops, reduce responsiveness, and affect the overall gaming experience.
The Nigerian debut at the PMNC Finals gives Infinix an opportunity to showcase the device directly to professional players, competitive gamers, and enthusiasts attending or following the championship.
The partnership further highlights Infinix’s growing focus on mobile esports and its efforts to position the GT Series as a premier gaming line built around the demands of serious players.
GT 50 Pro Goes on Sale
Following its Nigerian debut on September 12, the Infinix GT 50 Pro will be available for purchase nationwide via Jumia Nigeria.
For Nigerian gamers looking forward to Infinix’s latest release, the PMNC Nigeria Finals will mark the first official opportunity to experience the GT 50 Pro in the local market.
