JMG Limited has completed the installation and commissioning of a high-capacity compressed air system for Mamuda, a move aimed at supporting the manufacturer’s production operations and future expansion plans.
The industrial solution, delivered through JMG Industrial, the company’s specialised air compressor division, is designed to provide approximately 29 cubic metres of compressed air per minute at an operating pressure of 8.5 bar.
The project involved the design and installation of a new compressed air infrastructure tailored to Mamuda’s manufacturing requirements, with a focus on operational reliability, air quality and efficiency.
According to JMG, the project began with a comprehensive assessment of Mamuda’s compressed air demand, operating pressure, air quality specifications, storage capacity and anticipated production needs.
The assessment informed the design of an integrated system intended to deliver a consistent supply of compressed air to support the facility’s production machinery and accommodate future operational demands.
The installation features three Kaeser compressors, comprising two CSD 90 units and one CSD 130 unit.
The two CSD 90 compressors each deliver 8.45 cubic metres of air per minute, while the CSD 130 unit provides 12 cubic metres per minute. The units have power ratings of 45kW each and 75kW, respectively.
The system also includes two TE 122 refrigeration dryers, a 2,000-litre air receiver tank, line filtration equipment and ECO-DRAIN condensate management components.
The refrigeration dryers, each rated at 16 bar and 12.5 cubic metres per minute, are designed to help maintain the required compressed air quality for the facility’s manufacturing processes.
Speaking on the project’s completion, JMG Limited’s Service Manager, Rao Preetham, said the installation had undergone comprehensive commissioning and performance testing.
“The Kaeser compressed air system has been successfully commissioned and passed all final tests. We are confident that the installation will provide Mamuda with a reliable and efficient source of compressed air to support its production machinery and future operational requirements,” Preetham said.
The installation was completed on July 24, 2026, followed by final commissioning and testing to verify system performance, pressure stability and operational readiness.
