Annual outreach reinforces commitment to vulnerable communities through long-standing partnerships
FMDQ Group PLC has reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility by supporting four long-standing charity partners with food items and household essentials as part of its annual community outreach programme.
The initiative, carried out on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, saw staff members of the financial market infrastructure group visit Echoes of Mercy and Hope Foundation, Holy Family Home for the Elderly, Living Fountain Orphanage, and Modupe Cole Memorial Childcare and Treatment Home/School.
The annual outreach reflects FMDQ Group’s continued dedication to improving the welfare of vulnerable members of society while strengthening partnerships with organisations that provide care for children, elderly persons, and individuals requiring specialised support.
According to the company, the initiative also promotes a culture of empathy, volunteerism and shared responsibility among its employees, while contributing to sustainable community development.
Speaking on the outreach, the Group Chief Operating Officer of FMDQ Group PLC, Ms. Tumi Sekoni, said the organisation believes that sustainable business success must go hand in hand with meaningful community impact.
“At FMDQ Group, we recognise that meaningful progress is built not only through strong markets and sustainable businesses, but also through thriving communities. Our continued support for these long-standing partner organisations reflects our belief that corporate responsibility is most impactful when it is intentional, consistent, and rooted in genuine partnerships,” she said.
Sekoni added that the Group remains committed to creating shared value and supporting initiatives that improve the well-being of communities through sustained partnerships and responsible corporate citizenship.
FMDQ Group noted that the outreach aligns with its broader sustainability agenda of promoting inclusive growth and delivering lasting social impact beyond its core business operations.
