Emmanuel Ikazoboh has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors at Dangote Cement, succeeding founder and majority stakeholder Aliko Dangote.
According to Anthony Chiejina, Dangote’s Group Chief, Branding and Communications Officer, the transition allows Aliko Dangote to focus on the Dangote Petroleum Refinery project.
Ikazoboh, formerly an Independent Non‑Executive Director at the company, brings over four decades of leadership experience across Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, and South Africa.
