The E1 Lagos GP has taken a significant step forward with its recent stakeholder engagement session. This platform aimed to deepen understanding of the event’s identity, communication standards, and positioning among stakeholders.
The session featured opening remarks from Mr. Gbenga Omotosho, Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos State. A presentation from the Lagos State Waterways Authority highlighted established safety protocols, while the Teksight Edge team provided guidance on proper brand use and communications guidelines.
Mr. Samuel Egube, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State and Chairman of the E1 Lagos GP LOC, emphasized the importance of clarity, professionalism, and integrity in promoting the event. He stated, “Today marks not only an affirmation of our sponsors’ commitment but a promise that we will uphold these values in how Lagos tells its story on the global stage.”
Honourable Commissioner Omotosho noted that the E1 Lagos GP is more than a sporting event; it’s a statement of Lagos’ readiness to lead Africa into a sustainable future. He emphasized the need for a unified message from the people, media, and partners.
Mr. Olayinka Ijabiyi, Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, First Bank of Nigeria, expressed the bank’s pride in being the Presenting Partner of the E1 Lagos GP. He highlighted the alignment between the event’s goals and the bank’s heritage of supporting innovation and development in Nigeria.
The E1 Lagos GP has secured partnerships with leading brands, including First Bank of Nigeria, Oando, Spiro, Sunbeth, and Tolaram Group, among others. These partnerships demonstrate the commitment to hosting world-class events that inspire pride and create lasting impact.
