A Sino truck with registration number FGE-268ZS, loaded with bags of cement, crashed into the road divider at the Sango-Ota end of the Lagos-Abeokuta Road tollgate on Thursday around 2:20 p.m., following a suspected brake failure.
Eyewitnesses at the scene said that a commercial motorcyclist (okada rider) was nearly crushed to death in the incident. As One of his legs was totally crushed.
That the victim has been rushed to the General Hospital in Ota.
As of the time filling this story, the victim’s motorcycle was still seen trapped under the truck.
