The daughter of Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, Dr Stephanie Agbeyei, has held her traditional marriage ceremony with Ballad Agbeyei.
The ceremony took place at the governor’s country home in Sampou, Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the weekend.
The event attracted prominent dignitaries, including Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, and former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan.
Also present were the bride’s parents, Governor Douye Diri and Dr Gloria Diri, who joined family members, friends and well-wishers to celebrate the couple.
The traditional marriage was conducted in accordance with the customs and traditions of the people of Bayelsa State.
The ceremony brought together political leaders, relatives and other dignitaries to celebrate the union of Ballad and Dr Stephanie Agbeyei.
