The British Deputy High Commissioner in Lagos, Jonny Baxter, recently led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the head office of Fidelity Bank Plc in Lagos to explore opportunities for deeper economic collaboration between the United Kingdom and Nigeria.
During the visit, the bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, welcomed the delegation and highlighted the bank’s commitment to supporting international trade and investment.
Other officials present included Country Director of the Department for Business and Trade in Nigeria, Mark Smithson; Executive Director, Risk Management at Fidelity Bank, Kevin Ugwuoke; and Deputy Country Director, DBT Nigeria, Morayo Adekunle.
The meeting focused on strengthening financial partnerships, promoting trade opportunities, and enhancing collaboration between Nigerian and UK businesses.
