Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholor, has made a bold declaration, stating that he will resign from office if President Bola Tinubu fails to win the state in the 2027 presidential election. In a viral video interview, Okpebholor expressed his confidence in President Tinubu’s chances, citing the projects his administration has executed since the All Progressives Congress (APC) took over the state.
Okpebholor claimed that there is no opposition in Edo State, emphasizing that everyone is supporting the ruling party ahead of the 2027 elections. “There is no opposition here in Edo; everybody is for Asiwaju in this state,” he said. “Tinubu is more popular than me in Edo State.
