Rite Foods Limited has been honoured with the National Sustainability Achievement Awards 2026 in recognition of its commitment to sustainable manufacturing, product innovation, environmental stewardship, and responsible corporate leadership.
The leading Nigerian food and beverage company received the award following recommendations by the Awards Technical Committee, which named Rite Foods the winner in the Best Food Processing Carbonated Drink Formulation and Clean Energy Company of the Year 2026 categories.
Organised by ESG Impact Consulting Limited, the National Sustainability Achievement Awards recognise organisations that demonstrate measurable commitment to sustainability by balancing business growth with environmental responsibility and social impact.
According to the organisers, recipients are assessed based on key performance indicators, including environmental stewardship, measurable impact, and contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The recognition reflects Rite Foods’ sustained investment in world-class manufacturing, advanced technology, energy-efficient operations, product quality, and environmentally responsible business practices. Sustainability remains at the core of the company’s operations, guiding its production processes, innovation, resource management, and stakeholder engagement.
As one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous food and beverage manufacturers, Rite Foods has continued to strengthen its position in the industry through premium-quality products, consumer-driven innovation, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, and a corporate culture anchored on excellence, integrity, and sustainable growth.
Reacting to the award, the Managing Director of Rite Foods Limited, Seleem Adegunwa, described the recognition as a validation of the company’s long-standing commitment to creating value for consumers while safeguarding the environment.
“This recognition inspires us to continue raising the bar in responsible manufacturing, innovation, and sustainable business practices. At Rite Foods, sustainability is not simply an initiative; it is a guiding principle that shapes our operations, our investments, and our vision for the future,” Adegunwa said.
He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to expanding investments in cleaner technologies, improving resource efficiency, enhancing operational excellence, promoting environmental sustainability, and implementing community-focused initiatives that create lasting value for future generations.
The latest recognition further reinforces Rite Foods’ reputation as an innovative and environmentally responsible Nigerian manufacturer dedicated to delivering quality products while advancing sustainable development. It also underscores the company’s growing influence in shaping the future of sustainable food and beverage manufacturing in Africa.
The award adds to Rite Foods’ growing list of accolades. The company recently won the Best Foods and Beverage Brand Award at the Global Brands Awards, organised by the United Kingdom-based Global Brands Magazine.
The recognition also follows the honour bestowed on the company’s Managing Director, Seleem Adegunwa, who was named Industrialist of the Year 2025 by Vanguard Media Limited in recognition of his outstanding leadership
entrepreneurial vision, and contributions to Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
