The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, has strengthened its focus on personnel wellbeing following a health awareness engagement with Superlife Nigeria aimed at promoting healthy living among officers and men.
The collaboration, which was formally initiated on Thursday, May 7, 2026, saw the management of Superlife Nigeria partner with the NSCDC to deliver health awareness programmes and wellness education designed to improve the overall health condition and operational efficiency of personnel across the command.
As part of the engagement, the Senior Medical Consultant, Dr. Egbe Rove-Steiner, alongside the Country Director of Superlife Nigeria, Ambassador Kingsley Nnamani, paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr. Adedotun Sunday Keshinro, fnarc. The visit focused on exploring practical strategies to enhance the health and wellbeing of officers to ensure improved productivity and administrative performance.
The Commandant used the opportunity to reiterate his earlier directive to heads of formations across the state, stressing the importance of prioritising the health of personnel as a key factor in operational effectiveness.
He emphasised that regular medical check-ups and proactive health monitoring would help in early detection of potential health challenges, ensuring that officers remain fit and capable of handling the demanding responsibilities of the Corps.
Following the visit, Area Commanders and Divisional Officers of the Command were also sensitised during a health lecture held at the Command Headquarters in Alausa, Ikeja. The session was facilitated by the Senior Medical Consultant and the Country Director of Superlife Nigeria.
The engagement forms part of ongoing efforts to deepen health consciousness within the NSCDC Lagos Command and strengthen collaboration with partners in promoting the wellbeing of personnel.
