Fellow actor Alesh Sanni announced the sad news in an emotional post on Instagram, expressing shock and grief over the loss. The cause of her death was not immediately disclosed.
“Couldn’t sleep since last night, it’s well. Rest in peace my dearest sister, Temitope Osoba. We had amazing time and good memories together, till we meet again. I really don’t know what to say,” Sanni wrote.
Osoba’s death comes about a year after she returned to acting following her recovery from breast cancer.
In August 2025, the actress announced her comeback through an emotional Instagram video, thanking fans, colleagues and well-wishers for their prayers and support during her battle with the disease.

Osoba had disclosed that she discovered a lump in her breast during a self-examination in late 2024. Although initial medical tests suggested hormonal changes, further examinations confirmed it was breast cancer after the lump continued to grow.
She underwent surgery in November 2024 to remove the tumour before doctors recommended a second procedure to eliminate the remaining cancer cells.
