The cool, calm and energetic road traffic management officer, Cdr Hammed Salau has become Ota Divisional Commander (DC) of Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE).
He will be supervising the activities of the Division under the Corridor Commander, Cdr Olaoke while the acting Ogun West Zonal Commander, Cdr Adekunle Ariyo Ajibade will be superior supervisor.
He took over the baton of leadership from Cdr Victoria Olaoke who has now elevated to the rank of Corridor Commander within the zone.
He has served the agency in different capacity, especially on operations which of course, will enable him have a successful tenure.
Cdr Hammed Salau officially resumed duty on June 30, 2025, and assumed office as the new Divisional Commander of TRACE in Ota, Ogun State.
Known for his calm demeanor, discipline, and operational efficiency, Cdr Salau brings years of hands-on experience to the role.
He succeeds Cdr Victoria Olaoke, who has now been elevated to Corridor Commander within the zone. His leadership will be under the oversight of Cdr Olaoke, with broader supervision from the Acting Zonal Commander for Ogun West, Cdr Adekunle Ariyo Ajibade.
His past roles within TRACE, particularly in operations, have prepared him well for this assignment. Stakeholders expect his tenure to bring more structure and progress to traffic management in the division.
