As Muslims across Nigeria and around the world celebrate Eid al-Kabir, the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP) has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful, calling for renewed commitment to unity, sacrifice, and collective progress.
The Partnership described the occasion as a reminder of values such as faith, compassion, and devotion, which it said are essential for building stronger communities and advancing sustainable development in Nigeria.
According to NCSP, the spiritual significance of Eid al-Kabir—anchored on the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim—remains highly relevant in today’s world, especially as Nigeria continues to pursue economic growth, social stability, and deeper international cooperation.
The organisation noted that these values also align with its mandate of strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and China across key sectors, including infrastructure, agriculture, technology, education, energy, manufacturing, and youth development.
“Eid teaches us that real progress is built on sacrifice, trust, and shared purpose,” the NCSP said. “These are the same principles guiding our efforts to deepen cooperation with China for sustainable growth across critical sectors.”
It further explained that strategic collaboration between both countries is already creating opportunities for innovation, investment, skills development, and long-term national progress.
The Partnership Office reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment through educational exchange programmes, technical training, and innovation-driven initiatives designed to enhance the competitiveness of young Nigerians in the global economy.
NCSP also urged Nigerians to use the Eid season as a moment for reflection, peaceful coexistence, and mutual respect, noting that national development can only thrive in an atmosphere of unity and understanding.
It concluded by extending goodwill messages to Muslim faithful across the country, praying that the season brings peace, prosperity, and renewed hope to all.
