LagRide has announced a new training session for prospective professional drivers, known as Captains, under its LagRide Academy.
The training programme is scheduled to commence on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the LagRide Hub, located at 31 Mobolaji Johnson Avenue, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
According to the company, the LagRide Academy is designed to equip aspiring Captains with the knowledge, skills and professional standards required to operate on the platform.
Interested applicants are required to pay a training fee of N50,000.
As part of the recruitment and admission process, LagRide has scheduled Open Days for prospective applicants on September 1, 8, 15 and 22, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The Open Days are intended to provide applicants with information about the academy and guide them through the application and recruitment process.
The company said the training sessions will hold on September 3, 10, 17 and 24, beginning at 8:00 a.m. each day.
Successful participants are scheduled for deployment on September 14 and 28, also from 8:00 a.m.
LagRide urged interested individuals seeking to become professional Captains to take advantage of the training programme and follow the stipulated application process.
