Kumuyi Warns Deeper Life Members Against Pressuring Him on Succession”
The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, has expressed displeasure over remarks from one of his members regarding the choice of a successor. During a Bible study program, Kumuyi declared that only God will decide his successor at the right time.
Kumuyi warned that he would reject any member who attempts to pressure him into picking a successor, stressing that he can’t be controlled, even by his wife.
He added that nobody can push him out of office, emphasizing his commitment to fulfilling God’s mandate for the church.
Kumuyi urged members not to try to drive him away, asserting that they cannot do so. He emphasized that his focus remains on fulfilling God’s mandate for the church ¹.
