JMG Limited, Nigeria’s leading integrated electromechanical solutions company, has strengthened its commitment to improving business efficiency and sustainability with the successful delivery of three major engineering projects across the healthcare, manufacturing and aviation sectors during the second quarter of 2026.
The projects, executed through the company’s renewable energy, climate solutions and elevator divisions, underscore JMG’s focus on providing innovative engineering solutions that enhance operational performance, reduce costs and support long-term business growth.
One of the flagship projects involved the design and installation of a hybrid solar power system at St. Catherine Specialist Hospital in Wuse 2, Abuja. The project, handled by JMG Solar, now provides uninterrupted electricity for critical medical services while significantly reducing the hospital’s dependence on diesel generators.
According to the company, the hospital has cut its diesel consumption by 50 per cent since the system was commissioned, reducing usage from about 2,000 litres to 1,000 litres monthly. This has translated into diesel savings of approximately ₦14 million within four months, while monthly energy costs have dropped by about ₦2 million.
The solar installation is also expected to generate more than 133 megawatt-hours (MWh) of clean electricity annually and prevent over 53,000 kilograms of carbon emissions each year.
In the manufacturing sector, JMG Clima, the company’s climate solutions division and the authorised dealer of Trane in Nigeria, completed the upgrade of the cooling infrastructure at the corporate facility of one of Nigeria’s leading snack manufacturers.
Following a comprehensive assessment of the facility’s requirements, JMG deployed a high-efficiency Trane HVAC system designed to improve cooling performance, indoor air quality, operational reliability and long-term maintenance efficiency.
The company also recorded a milestone in the aviation sector through JMG Elevator, which completed the installation and maintenance support of 16 TK Elevator units at Victor Attah International Airport in Akwa Ibom State.
The installation comprises 12 elevators and four escalators aimed at improving passenger movement, accessibility and operational efficiency within the airport terminal. Following the successful completion of the project, the client approved the installation of an additional three units, increasing the total number of TK Elevator installations at the airport to 19.
