Lagos, Nigeria — FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC has launched a Nutrition Intervention Programme at Ojodu Primary School, Lagos, as part of its commitment to improving child nutrition and promoting healthy development.

The initiative, flagged off by the President, Middle East, Pakistan & Africa (MEPA), Royal FrieslandCampina, Ali Ahmed Khan, and the Managing Director of FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC, Roger Adou, brought together education stakeholders, including representatives of the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.
During the programme, pupils participated in a nutrition awareness session focused on the importance of dairy in supporting growth, cognitive development, and learning. The company also distributed Peak Yoghurt Drink to the children, reinforcing access to quality dairy nutrition.
Speaking at the event, company leaders reaffirmed FrieslandCampina WAMCO’s commitment to “Doing Dairy Right” by investing in initiatives that promote better nutrition and healthier futures for Nigerian children.
