Fidelity Bank Plc is set to conclude its 2026 Quarterly Business Forum series with an edition in Abuja, bringing together entrepreneurs, business owners, industry experts and other stakeholders to explore strategies for sustainable business growth in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The forum, scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, 2026, will take place at Barcelona Hotel, No. 23 Blantyre Street, Wuse 2, Abuja, under the theme, “Building Sustainable Businesses, Unlocking Growth, Governance and Opportunity in the FCT.”
Speaking ahead of the event, the Divisional Head of SME Banking at Fidelity Bank Plc, Mrs Ugochi Osinigwe, said sustainable business growth depends on access to finance, sound governance, relevant business knowledge and strong professional networks.
Osinigwe said the bank established the Quarterly Business Forum to provide entrepreneurs with practical insights, strengthen their business capabilities and connect them with opportunities that support long-term growth.
“At Fidelity Bank, we recognise that sustainable business growth requires a combination of access to finance, sound governance, relevant business knowledge and the ability to identify and maximise emerging opportunities,” she said.
“Through the Quarterly Business Forum, we are creating a platform where business owners can gain practical insights, strengthen their capabilities and connect with opportunities that will support their long-term success.”
She added that the Abuja edition would emphasise the importance of building well-structured businesses capable of adapting to changing market conditions, improving operational efficiency and positioning themselves for expansion.
According to her, the forum will also enable participants to engage with relevant business stakeholders and explore strategies for improving competitiveness and building resilient enterprises.
Throughout 2026, the Quarterly Business Forum has provided a platform for business engagement and knowledge-sharing across the country. The Abuja edition is expected to build on the outcomes of previous sessions, with discussions focusing on corporate governance, business resilience and sustainable business practices.
Fidelity Bank supports entrepreneurs through its SME Banking proposition and SME Hub, which offer capacity-building programmes, advisory services, networking opportunities and financial solutions tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The forum is scheduled to commence at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, at Barcelona Hotel, Wuse 2, Abuja.
