Charles Okocha was declared the winner of the much-anticipated celebrity boxing contest against controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, after the singer walked out of the ring during the bout.
The fight ended in dramatic fashion after a chaotic opening round in which both fighters grappled and fell to the canvas. The situation became unruly, prompting security personnel to intervene and restore order.
Following the disruption, Portable left the ring amid boos from spectators and failed to return for the continuation of the contest.
The officials subsequently declared Okocha the winner by disqualification following Portable’s walkout, bringing the highly publicised celebrity boxing showdown to an abrupt end.
