The Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC), Pastor Tunde Bakare, has announced the full repayment of the ₦4 billion loan obtained from Wema Bank Plc for the construction of the church’s Citadel edifice.
Bakare made the disclosure on Sunday, stating that the church has successfully cleared the debt, marking a significant milestone in the completion of the project.
The loan was originally secured to finance the development of the Citadel, a landmark worship centre and multipurpose facility of the church. Its repayment, according to Bakare, reflects the commitment, discipline, and collective effort of members and supporters of the church.
The cleric expressed gratitude to God and appreciated the congregation for their unwavering support throughout the period of the loan repayment.
The announcement has been received as a major achievement for the church, underscoring its financial responsibility and dedication to fulfilling its obligations.
