Born in 1966 to Mr. Taiwo Bamgbose, a disciplined soldier, and Mrs. Bose Bamgbose, Yusuf Bamgbose was raised on strong values of discipline, resilience, and responsibility. His early education took him through Command Children’s School and Children Homes School in Ibadan, before proceeding to Command Secondary School, where his academic foundation was firmly laid.
Driven by a passion for knowledge, he furthered his education at Kwara State Polytechnic and later at Lagos State University (LASU), Satellite Campus, earning multiple qualifications that underscored his intellectual depth and professional readiness.
A seasoned chartered accountant, Mr. Bamgbose devoted decades to public service, serving with distinction in key government institutions including Lagos Mainland Local Government, Oshodi Local Government, and the Civil Service Commission Pension Department. Renowned for his expertise in financial management, transparency, and administrative efficiency, his career reached a notable peak with his appointment as Assistant Director of Finance and Accounts—a role he executed with honour until his retirement.
Beyond the office, Mr. Bamgbose is a committed family man. He is married to Mrs. Esther Ifunaya Bamgbose, and their union is blessed with four children: Kaosara, Aliyah, Sultan, and Barakat. His dedication to lifelong learning and strong ethical standards has also earned him respect within professional accounting circles.
