Former Big Brother Naija star, medical doctor and health advocate, Faith Adewale, has launched a new health segment, “Ask Dr. Faith,” on TVC’s flagship breakfast programme, Wake Up Nigeria, aimed at making reliable health information more accessible to Nigerians.
The 15-minute segment, which debuted on the programme, provides viewers with an interactive platform to ask health-related questions and receive expert medical advice on issues ranging from preventive healthcare and nutrition to healthy living and overall wellbeing.
Through the initiative, Dr. Adewale seeks to bridge the gap between healthcare professionals and the public by offering practical, easy-to-understand guidance that empowers individuals to make informed health decisions.
Speaking after the programme’s debut, Dr. Adewale said the initiative was created to address the growing need for credible health education.
“There are many health questions people want answers to but may not always know where to turn for reliable information. Ask Dr. Faith is designed to provide a trusted platform where viewers can get credible, practical and easy-to-understand guidance on issues that affect their everyday lives,” he said.
TVC said the introduction of the segment aligns with its commitment to delivering informative and impactful content that addresses issues of public interest while encouraging meaningful audience engagement.
Viewers have also been encouraged to participate by submitting their health questions through the #AskDrFaith hashtag for possible discussion in future episodes.
The programme is expected to air regularly on Wake Up Nigeria, promoting healthier lifestyles through expert medical advice and audience interaction.
