The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church Worldwide, Elijah Ayodele, has warned that many politicians who secure tickets of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections may still lose at the polls.
Ayodele gave the warning during a prophecy shared via Facebook, where he spoke about the outlook of Nigeria’s forthcoming elections. According to him, winning a party’s ticket does not automatically translate into electoral victory, as voter sentiment and public dissatisfaction will play a decisive role in determining outcomes.
He noted that while several candidates may emerge victorious during party primaries, they could ultimately be rejected by voters during the general elections.
“Majority of those who will take APC ticket will fail because people vote them out,” he said, suggesting that electoral outcomes would be driven more by the mood of the electorate than by party dominance.
The cleric further argued that Nigerian voters are becoming increasingly politically aware and are more likely to assess candidates based on performance, credibility, and their perceived impact on living conditions.
He added that political loyalty is shifting, warning that parties may no longer rely solely on established structures or influence to secure victories.
Ayodele also maintained that the outcome of the 2027 elections would be shaped by broader national issues, including economic challenges, governance concerns, and public trust in leadership.
