The Oyo/Osun Area Command has conducted a medical outreach for its officers and men as part of efforts to enhance their welfare and operational efficiency.
The initiative was carried out under the leadership of the Acting Customs Area Controller, Deputy Comptroller Wale Moses Adewole, and coordinated through the Command’s Medical Unit.
The outreach, which began on April 20 and ended on April 24, 2026, covered personnel across patrol teams and outstations within the Command’s Areas of Responsibility. It featured comprehensive medical checkups and the provision of basic healthcare services.
The medical team, led by Assistant Comptroller Jamila Ukpo, visited key outstations and patrol bases to deliver the services directly to officers and men on duty.
Officials said the exercise reflects the Command’s recognition of the importance of good health in ensuring optimal performance and sustaining high standards of service delivery.
The Command reaffirmed its commitment to initiatives aimed at improving the welfare, morale, and productivity of its personnel in the discharge of their statutory responsibilities.
The statement was signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Customs I, Akintola Abiodun Abdulmalik, on behalf of the Acting Customs Area Controller.
