His Royal Highness, Mujahid Asari Dokubo, the Amayanabo of Torusarama Piri (Elem Kalabari) in Degema Local Government Area, has dismissed reports circulating online about his alleged arrest, describing the claims as false and misleading.
Dokubo also denied reports linking him with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, urging the public to disregard the rumours spreading on social media.
Speaking further, the former Niger Delta militant leader addressed issues relating to the Niger Delta and ongoing discussions about the creation of Biafra. He maintained that he would continue to make his position known on the matter, particularly regarding the use of oil resources from the Ijaw region.
Dokubo warned that any attempt by foreign powers to exploit Ijaw oil to create Biafra for the Igbo people would be resisted.
He said, “I will continue to mention my position, but if America comes in here, listen to me very well so that you can report me back to America. If America comes here to take our oil to create Biafra for the Igbo people, they will not leave this place.”
