Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, widow of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has died from injuries sustained in a joint United States and Israeli air strike on Tehran, Iranian state media report.
According to multiple Iranian and international sources, Bagherzadeh — the wife of the late Supreme Leader who was killed in the same wave of strikes — succumbed to wounds received in the unprecedented assault that has rocked the Islamic Republic.
The news comes amid escalating military confrontation following the massive U.S.-Israeli offensive on Iranian targets, which has already claimed the life of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other senior regime figures, according to state reports.
Details remain limited, and Iranian state media has yet to release a full official statement on her death, but early reports confirm her passing on March 2, 2026, as a direct consequence of the strike that hit Tehran’s leadership compound.
This latest death marks another significant escalation in the rapidly unfolding conflict in the Middle East. Stay tuned for developing updates.
