The African Democratic Congress Diaspora Network (ADC-DN), a robust coalition of party loyalists, supporters, and friends spanning Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the former Senate President, Senator David Mark, and former Osun State Governor, Engr. Rauf Aregbesola, on their appointments as Interim National Chairman and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, respectively.
ADC-DN in a release made available to Journalists on Tuesday and signed by the Director of Media, ADC Diaspora Network (ADC-DN) MacGodwin Akajiaku Iweajunawa, said it proudly reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the vision of a ‘New Nigeria’ and offers its full support to the recently launched high-level opposition’s coalition.
The ADC- DN said in the release, “Let it be made abundantly clear: that the ADC Diaspora Network is here to stay stronger, more determined, and more united than ever before.
“The Nigerian Diaspora remains a vital force in the nation’s political reawakening, and this strategic realignment only strengthens our collective resolve”.
Reacting to the coalition’s unveiling, Hon. (Dr.) Kenneth Gbandi, Leader of ADC-DN and former ADC National Deputy Chairman (Diaspora Engagements) said he endorsed the alliance, describing it as a “long-overdue alignment of national interest and people power.”
He reassured members and stakeholders that the ADC Diaspora Network remains solid and is now further energized through strategic collaborations with other Diaspora-based blocs such as the “OBIDIENT’ and *Articulated* networks. Together, they form a unified, strategic, and unstoppable movement as Nigeria approaches the 2027 general elections. “This goes beyond politics,” Hon. Gbandi stated. “It is a mission to rescue Nigeria. The Diaspora stands firmly with any coalition that champions competence, justice, transparency, and the dignity of the Nigerian people.”
He said the ADC-DN remains committed to mobilizing the Nigerian Diaspora in support of a reformed, inclusive, and people-focused Nigeria.
“While staying true to the core ideals of the African Democratic Congress, (ADC), we fully embrace this broader national objective through this historic coalition.
“Together, we move—toward One Nigeria that works for all”, Gbandi said.
