The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a slight adjustment to the arrival time for candidates scheduled for the first session of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
In an update shared via its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, April 13, 2026, the examination body stated that candidates are now expected to arrive at their centres by 7:00 a.m., instead of the earlier scheduled time of 6:30 a.m.
JAMB clarified that the examination will commence at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 10:30 a.m. for the first session.
The Board also reassured candidates that the adjustment does not affect their examination documents, noting that there is no need to reprint examination slips.
Candidates are therefore advised to take note of the updated schedule and ensure punctuality at their designated centres to avoid any disruptions.
