The Ogun I Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has extended warm Easter greetings to officers, stakeholders, and the general public, describing the season as a time for renewal, reflection, and hope.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Customs Area Controller, O.O. Afeni, the Command felicitated with families and communities, encouraging all to embrace the spirit of Easter by pausing to reflect and cherish moments with loved ones.
The Command reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to facilitating legitimate trade and ensuring the security of Nigeria’s borders. It also expressed appreciation to its officers, sister agencies, stakeholders, journalists, and partners for their continued dedication, diligence, and integrity in the discharge of their duties.
Special recognition was given to members of the Command’s management team and officers deployed across checkpoints and border posts who remain on duty throughout the holiday period. Their sacrifices, the statement noted, are critical to maintaining seamless supply chains and safeguarding communities.
