Nigerian entrepreneur and brand strategist, Aishat Anaekwe, has unveiled Blac Haus, a new live-entertainment brand aimed at taking Nigeria’s vibrant nightlife experience to international audiences.
The brand will make its debut with The Frequency, an entertainment event scheduled for December 15, 2026, at Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event will feature eight DJs and music selectors performing on one specially designed stage, with no individual headline act, in a format organisers say is intended to give every performer and the overall entertainment experience equal prominence.
“Our artists have already gone global. The next thing Nigeria can export is the night itself, and the people who build it,” Anaekwe said.
With over 15 years of experience in brand management, marketing and entertainment, Anaekwe has worked on several international properties in Nigeria, including the UEFA Champions League, Euro 2020, Formula 1 and James Bond campaigns for Heineken, as well as Manchester City for PZ Cussons.
She also produced the maiden edition of BWUFEST, a beach festival held in Oniru in 2023 and headlined by Nigerian singer Asake, which attracted more than 10,000 people.
Her most recent corporate position was in charge of brand and communications at Coronation Group. She is also one of the founding partners of TurnUp, an American live-events company licensed to screen the 2026 FIFA World Cup final publicly in Atlanta.
The lineup for The Frequency includes Berlin-based Kikelomo of Rinse FM, alongside Tobzy, Azzi on the Beat, Sunrise, K.N.D, WeAreAllChemicals, Maze x Mxtreme and Fabiyo, who will be travelling from Germany for the event.
According to the organisers, a major attraction will be the specially designed lighting production, featuring laser and haze effects synchronised with the music to create an immersive entertainment experience.
Blac Haus said the December event represents the beginning of a three-year expansion plan that will see Lagos host an annual edition every December before the concept is introduced to other cities outside Nigeria.
The organisers also plan to make the experience accessible to international audiences through livestreaming.
Attendance at the maiden edition will be limited to 3,500 people throughout the night to ensure a comfortable and premium experience.
The event will open its gates at 5 p.m., with performances scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and continue until 3 a.m.
General admission tickets are priced at ₦20,000, while VIP tickets cost ₦50,000. Table reservations are also available.
The organisers said the current ticket prices will remain valid until November 8, 2026.
Interested attendees can purchase tickets through tix.africa/blachaus.
Blac Haus, founded in Lagos by Anaekwe, describes itself as a live-entertainment brand focused on developing premium, production-driven entertainment experiences for audiences in Africa and the diaspora.
The maiden edition of The Frequency is expected to position Lagos as the starting point for the brand’s ambition to take Nigerian nightlife culture to a wider international audience.
