Fidelity Bank Plc has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to female entrepreneurs and small businesses, playing a central role at the highly anticipated Beauty in the Motherland 2026 commemorative dinner and awards ceremony.
Held at the prestigious Eko Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, the event marked the climax of a dynamic three-day conference that brought together over 3,000 attendees and more than 300 exhibitors spanning skincare, haircare, cosmetics, fragrance, and wellness.
Celebrating African Beauty and Enterprise
Hosted by popular media personalities Nancy Isime and Enioluwa Adeoluwa, the commemorative dinner was a vibrant celebration of creativity, innovation, and enterprise. Guests were treated to an energetic live performance by Afropop star Yemi Alade, bringing together industry leaders, investors, and beauty enthusiasts under one roof.
A standout moment of the evening was the presentation of a Special Recognition Award to Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank Plc.
Organisers noted that the honor recognizes Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe’s visionary leadership and Fidelity Bank’s continuous investments into scaling the Nigerian beauty enterprise ecosystem.
“Our sponsorship for the third consecutive year reflects our absolute confidence in the beauty sector and the visionary entrepreneurs shaping its future,” said Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe in her acceptance remarks. “The African beauty industry is vibrant, innovative, and increasingly global. Fidelity Bank remains committed to helping founders access finance, gain strategic knowledge, expand their market reach, and build sustainable brands.”

Elevating Women Entrepreneurs and Market Access
Beauty in the Motherland co-founders Beatrice Obinna Eneh and Linda Edozien emphasized that the annual gathering was created to showcase African natural resources, build industry structures, and connect creators with distributors and investors.
Because women and young founders power a significant share of the beauty economy, Fidelity Bank’s partnership aligns seamlessly with its dedicated empowerment programs, including:
