— Brand sponsors July 31 showdown as entertainment stars battle for bragging rights and electric vehicle prizes
Fearless Energy Drink, a flagship brand of Rite Foods Limited, has thrown its weight behind the highly anticipated ‘Chaos in the Ring’ celebrity boxing contest between popular singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, and actor and comedian Charles Okocha.
The celebrity showdown is scheduled to hold on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, where entertainment lovers are expected to witness another thrilling chapter in the rivalry between the two celebrities.
The fight rekindles their rivalry, which began in December 2023 when they first squared off at Landmark Beach, Victoria Island, Lagos. Ahead of the bout, both stars exchanged confident remarks, with Portable insisting he would repeat his previous victory, while Okocha expressed confidence that he would reverse the outcome this time.
Beyond the headline clash, the event will feature several other exciting bouts, including Idowest vs Mr Real, Shiloh Defreitas of Great Britain (Sugar Shy) vs Eric ‘Kojo’ Quarm of Ghana, Rilwan Lawal vs Yusuf Adeniji, as well as Basit Adebayo of Nigeria vs Said Chino of Tanzania.
Winners of the celebrity contest are also expected to receive brand-new electric vehicles courtesy of EV Motors.
