HumanManager Limited, a subsidiary of SystemSpecs Group, has hosted a thought-leadership webinar themed “The Future of HR: From Manual Processes to Workforce Intelligence,” bringing together professionals from the technology, FMCG, manufacturing, consulting and SME sectors to discuss the evolving role of Human Resources in Nigeria’s digital economy.
The virtual webinar, held on April 28, 2026, featured Ibem K. Idika as keynote speaker, while Esther Momah moderated the session.
During the discussion, participants examined the transformation of HR from traditional administrative functions to strategic, data-driven workforce intelligence systems capable of supporting smarter business decisions, productivity optimisation and sustainable organisational growth.
Speaking during the session, Idika said organisations must begin to see workforce data as a strategic business asset rather than merely an administrative necessity.
“HR is no longer just about managing people; it is about unlocking intelligence from the workforce,” he said, while highlighting the increasing importance of predictive analytics, workforce intelligence, digital HR systems and AI-powered decision-making in modern organisations.
He added that businesses that effectively leverage workforce intelligence would gain stronger competitive advantage in an increasingly technology-driven business environment.
The webinar also explored the different phases in the evolution of HR, from personnel administration and process standardisation to strategic HR, digital HR and workforce intelligence.
Participants further discussed the growing role of data literacy, digital fluency and workforce analytics in shaping the future of work.
According to HumanManager, the webinar forms part of its broader commitment to supporting organisations with insights, tools and digital solutions aimed at improving workforce management, payroll administration, employee experience and operational efficiency.
Commenting on the initiative, Jerry Adeyeri said the webinar reflects the company’s commitment to helping organisations navigate the future of work through technology, workforce intelligence and digital HR transformation.
As businesses continue to embrace digital transformation, experts at the session stressed the need for organisations to adopt intelligent and adaptive HR systems capable of delivering real-time workforce insights, predictive talent strategies and data-backed decision-making.
HumanManager said it would continue to drive conversations around the future of work, HR technology, workforce intelligence and payroll automation through industry-focused engagements and digital innovation.
