Pastor Olulade Thompson was born on April 14, 1966, in Ado Ekiti, into a devout Muslim family. His early life was defined not by privilege, but by hardship and struggle—experiences that later shaped his resilience, courage, and determination.
In 1987, his life took a decisive turn when he encountered Christ and became born again. The decision came at a heavy personal cost, as he was reportedly disowned by his father and cut off from family support, education, and stability. It was, however, a defining season that he later described as a time when “earthly support failed, but divine support began.”
Determined to rebuild his life, he resolved to return to school. Through perseverance and faith, he sponsored himself through higher education, earning a Diploma from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, a Higher Diploma in Public Finance, a degree in Digital Marketing from France, and an MBA from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH). Each qualification represented a milestone in his journey of recovery and growth.
In his personal life, he met Pastor Mrs. Olulade Folake in 1995, and they got married in 1997. The union is blessed with three children. He credits his wife as a steady pillar of support through both difficult and prosperous times.
Professionally, Pastor Thompson built a career spanning multiple sectors, including Metal-Tech Nigeria, Total Titan Finance, Owen Binite Hotel, and BTA Associates, where he rose to the position of General Manager. In 2019, he transitioned into entrepreneurship.
Following his spiritual calling, he became actively involved in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), growing from a humble worker to leadership roles within the church. He currently serves as Pastor-in-Charge of Lagos Province 17, having previously overseen Lagos Province 123.
Now at 60, he describes his life as a testimony of divine mercy rather than personal strength—marked by transformation from rejection to restoration, disownment to acceptance, and scarcity to significance.
His guiding philosophy remains: faith over fear, determination over discouragement, and service over status.
From a young man once rejected for his beliefs to a shepherd guiding many, Pastor Thompson says his journey is ultimately a reflection of grace, and he gives all glory to God.
