Daraju Industries Limited has reinforced its presence in Nigeria’s financial market following the approval of its ₦22.68 billion Commercial Paper (CP) for quotation on FMDQ Securities Exchange Limited.
The quotation, approved by the Exchange’s Board Listings and Markets Committee, covers a ₦4.92 billion Series 1 and a ₦17.76 billion Series 2 issuance under Daraju Industries’ ₦50.00 billion CP Issuance Programme. The development highlights the Exchange’s continued commitment to providing a transparent, efficient, and well-regulated platform for short-term funding, while supporting economic growth and capital market development.
Daraju Industries, a leading Nigerian fast-moving consumer goods manufacturer with a diverse portfolio across personal care, home care, and oral hygiene products, plans to strategically deploy the proceeds from the issuance to strengthen its operations. The funds will be used to meet working capital needs, optimise its funding structure, and improve operational efficiency—positioning the company for sustained growth and expanded market reach.
The programme is sponsored by FBNQuest Merchant Bank Limited, with support from co-sponsors CardinalStone Partners Limited, Cordros Advisory Services Limited, and Coronation Merchant Bank Limited. The successful quotation reflects strong investor confidence in Daraju Industries’ credit profile and business outlook.
